SoKü (Subbotnik)

• In vielen europäischen Städten stellen die SoKüs (auch Küfas, VoKüs, u.a. genannt) die kulinarische Grundversorgung linker Bewegungen und subversiver Subkultur sicher. Die Mittwochs-Sokü war die erste regelmäßige Veranstaltung im Subbotnik. Sie bildet somit das Herzstück des Zusammentreffens verschiedenster Menschen hier und Ausgangspunkt für die Entwicklung des kulturellen Programms im und rundum das Subbotnik:
• Jeden Mittwoch wird sich hier im Rahmen eines niedrigschwelligen Ansatzes getroffen, der die Möglichkeit für alle zur Partizipation am sozialen Leben und an Kultur, unabhängig vom Geldbeutel bietet. Dieser Ansatz beinhaltet beispielsweise kostenfreie Konzerte, Vorträge, Filme sowie veganes Essen gegen Spende und günstige Getränke.
• Die Sokü ist ein Ort der Selbstverwaltung und Selbstgestaltung, in dem keine Trennung zwischen Gästen und „Personal“ vorherrscht. Wir können hier aktiv unsere eigenen Regeln des Zusammenlebens immer wieder neuerarbeiten. So sind alle stets eingeladen, mitzukochen oder sich hinter die Bar zu stellen, so dass der Ort  zu einem Freiraum in Kollektiveigentum werden kann.
• mitmachen – aber wie?
• Die SoKü beinhaltet verschiedenste Bereiche und wir freuen uns stets über Unterstützung beim: Aufräumen, Bestellen, Einkaufen, Kochen, Bar, Booking bis Verwaltung..
• Praktisch werden? kommt mittwochs ab 16.00 vorbei und schnibbelt direkt mit/ geht einkaufen… Kommt kurz vor 20.00 und gebt direkt mit Essen aus oder sprecht uns am Tresen an.

 

• In many European cities, the SoKüs (also known as Küfas, VoKüs, etc.) provide basic culinary supplies for left-wing movements and subversive subculture. The Wednesday Sokü was the first regular event at Subbotnik. It thus forms the heart of the gathering of different people here and the starting point for the development of the cultural programme in and around the Subbotnik: Every Wednesday, people meet here as part of a low-threshold approach that offers the opportunity for everyone to participate in social life and culture, regardless of their budget. This approach includes, for example, free concerts, lectures, films and vegan food for a donation and cheap drinks.
• The Sokü is a place of self-administration and self-organisation, where there is no separation between guests and “staff”. We can actively work out our own rules for living together again and again. Everyone is always invited to help cook or stand behind the bar, so that the place can become a collectively owned free space.

• The SoKü covers a wide range of areas and we are always happy to receive support with: Tidying up, ordering, shopping, cooking, bar, booking and administration.
