Der Stadtteilspaziergang widmet sich der architektonischen, sozialen und politischen Geschichte des Gebiets. Ein thematischer Schwerpunkt liegt auf dem Stadtteil als Wohnort, Vernetzungsraum und Tatort des NSU. Dabei werden die konkreten Orte aufgesucht, an denen das NSU-Netzwerk gelebt und Verbrechen begangen hat. Gemeinsam mit den Teilnehmenden nähern wir uns den Fragen, wie das NSU-Netzwerk in Chemnitz verankert war, wie eine lokale Aufarbeitung aussehen kann und welche Formen des Erinnerns an die Opfer des NSU in Chemnitz möglich sind.

The walk is dedicated to the architectural, social and political history of the area. One thematic focus is on the district as a place of residence, networking space and crime scene of the NSU (self chosen name: nationalsozialistischer untergrund). The specific places where the NSU network lived and committed crimes will be visited. Together we will approach the questions of how the NSU network was anchored in Chemnitz, what a local approach to the past might look like, and what forms of collective memorial to the victims of the NSU are possible in Chemnitz.
